It’s Canada’s Birthday and we going to celebrate! Join us for a carnival style party with games, sing-alongs, cake, prizes and more!
As Terra Nova National Park is located in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, Memorial Day is observed in this province on July 1st to commemorate the brave efforts of the province’s veterans and the sacrifices of all members of the armed forces. We invite you to start the day at our Memorial Day Wreath laying ceremony at the Visitor centre.
Park entry is free for everyone on Canada Day.

Join Parks Canada and the St. John's Chapter of The Royal Astronomical Society as we celebrate the dark! Get a crash course in how to use the equipment needed to get a closer look at the night sky. Discover why darkness is so important to the residents of the park as you star gaze the night away.

Chef Chris Sheppard will teach you how to make a simple yet tasty campfire meal using ingredients you can find nearby and pack in your cooler! Go home with a full belly and recipes to inspire you on your next camping adventure. Chris will offer 2 workshops: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Cost: $10.80 Adult and $7.60 Youth. HOD Fellows Concert

Join House of Diamonds musical group, The HOD Fellows, as they offer a night of music under the stars. All proceeds from this concert will contribute to the operation of the House of Diamonds. Located in Glovertown, the House of Diamonds is a not-for-profit volunteer run art centre dedicated to promoting Newfoundland and Labrador Artists and Artisans. It features an art gallery, gift shop, art studio, and artist residence.
