Manitoba's Virtual Scavenger Hunt - Clue #6

You find yourself where two rivers meet and many people come to meet: The Forks National Historic Site! Archaeologists have uncovered amazing treasures from the past here. It’s been the go-to spot for Indigenous gatherings, fur trade forts, and immigrant arrivals to Western Canada (via the train!). The Forks holds a lot of history, making it very unstable during this space-time rift.

Walk up the brick path to a sculpture that shows “train tracks in the sky”. Find a pinkish stone wall that speaks to all who hear it:

How long have people been interacting at The Forks? Knowing this will help stabilize the rift!
