Vuntut National Park

Vuntut is one of Canada’s most remote national parks. It is a vast and evocative landscape, ranging from the wetlands of Van Tat, the Old Crow Flats, to the rolling hills and rocky peaks of the British Mountains.

Conservation

Situated in northern Yukon, above the Arctic Circle, Vuntut National Park, protects a representative example of the Northern Yukon Natural Region.

Environment

Vuntut encompasses 4,345 sq. km. of wilderness in the northwestern corner of the Yukon Territory.

Animals

This land is home to one of the great natural wonders of the world, the annual migration of the Porcupine Caribou Herd – one of the largest caribou herds in North America.
