The Rivière à la Pêche Service Centre is located five kilometres from the Saint-Jean-des-Piles entrance.

oTENTik tents

Halfway between a tent and a rustic cabin, the oTENTik tent welcomes you in the comfort of nature. It's the perfect opportunity for families or friends to experience the joys of summer and winter camping without the hassle. The F7 site is adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Picnic and rest areas

Within walking distance of the Promenade Road, there are many picnic spots. You can stop for a snack, take a trailhead or simply enjoy the view. It's a great way to discover less crowded areas!

Lookouts and Lac-Étienne Trail

Lookouts, such as the Vide-Bouteille Lookout, offer spectacular views of the various bodies of water of La Mauricie National Park.

Edouard Lake beach

Located halfway between the two entrances, Edouard Lake has everything to please, including easy access to the beach for people with limited mobility.

Universal access mat

Universal access mats (Mobi-mat®) are special mats installed at the base of the entrance ramp to the beach that extend over the sand and allow access to the compacted and wet sand at the water's edge. These mats provide a firm, non-slip surface nearly 2 meters wide. This makes access to the lake and beach easier, regardless of the type of wheels.

Beach wheelchairs

Parks Canada offers a floating wheelchair for rent free of charge. The wheelchair is specifically designed to allow users to get into the water. Users can adjust the backrest to one of three positions, allowing them to choose the position that best suits them. We strongly recommend that a personal flotation device (PFD) be worn when using the chair.

To have a free access to adapted equipment, plan a stop at one of the reception centers to sign the equipment loan form. Our staff will be happy to inform you about the terms of borrowing.
