Accessible facilities

• Two accessible parking spots available on a first-come-first-serve basis
• Paved parking lot
• Indoor accessible public universal/ single user washroom
• Gallery theatre - accessible wheelchair seating, ramped walkway with string lights to access seats. Hearing devices available to borrow upon request. 
• “Life on the Edge” Gallery - Self-guided exhibits and videos. Mix of concrete floor and ramps with slight elevation and handrails (May require assistance for slope of ramp)
• Little Dunks Bay Lookout 
• Length - 0.8km (one way)
• Surface - Packed gravel, double wide trail
• Description - Meandering trail with some small roots and rocks. Open with mix of covered tree canopy, rough roots and rocks frame the trail, some slight incline/ decline throughout the trail
• Three resting areas with benches spread out along 0.8 km to lookout
• Lookout area is a flat wooden deck flush with natural earth floor 
• View point deck overlooks the Georgian Bay Shoreline with handrails, interpretive signage and a low bench
• Sights and sounds - Flora and fauna, the wind blowing through the trees and the waves lapping against the Georgian Bay Shoreline

• Paved parking lot 
• Open air pavilion at head of trails with stamped concrete surface and indoor accessible universal/single user public washroom
• Accessible compost washroom along trail (may require assistance over small gap to access ramp)
• Georgian Bay Trail 
• Length - 1.5km (one-way)
• Surface - Packed gravel, double wide trail
• Description - Meandering trail with some small rocks or roots on the trail. Open with mix of covered tree canopy, rough roots and rocks frame the trail, some slight inclines/ declines throughout, one steep incline/ decline. Trail turns into rocky natural surface near shoreline with large roots and rocks
• Horse Lake lookout side trail 
• Length – approx. 20m off Georgian Bay trail
• Surface - Natural surface with roots and rocks, single wide trail 
• Description - Direct trail with rest area bench overlooking Horse Lake
• Georgian Bay lookout side trail 
• Length - approx. 100m off Georgian Bay Trail
• Surface - Packed natural surface framed by log curb, double wide trail 
• Description -  Direct trail to a pebble beach overlooking Georgian Bay shoreline, rest area bench in forest before shoreline, moderate decline to shoreline (may require assistance) 
• Cyprus Lake Trail (Section along campground) 
• Length - 1.7km (one-way)
• Surface - Mix of packed gravel and boardwalks, mix of double wide and single wide trail
• Description - Following the Cyprus Lake shoreline, mix of forested areas and viewpoints of Cyprus Lake, forest floor, roots and rocks frame the trail on either side, some small roots and rocks found on the trail, slight incline/ decline onto boardwalks
• Sights and sounds - Flora and fauna, campers going about their day, generators could be in use, wind blowing through the trees and the waves lapping against the Cyprus Lake Shoreline

Front country Campsites

• All campsites at Cyprus Lake Campground are un-serviced 
• All sites offer a natural dirt floor surface 
• All sites allow one car parked on site
• Sites’ dimensions vary in length and width - dimensions and proximity to washroom facilities can be found under reservations at www.reservation.pc.gc.ca 
• All washrooms in the Poplar area of the campground offer accessible stalls in gendered washrooms 
• Designated washrooms in the Birches offer universal/single user style facilities
• Comfort Station (The Campground Hub) – Indoor gendered accessible washroom and shower facilities at open air pavilion with stamped concrete surface

Cyprus Yurts

• Yurt 1 offers wheelchair friendly ramp access 
• Yurt 1 is located beside paved parking area for easy access with accessible parking spot
• Natural dirt and gravel trail lead to Cyprus Lake shoreline
• Yurt comfort station offers accessible stalls in gendered washrooms and accessible universal/ single user style shower facilities with transfer bench

• Parking lot is mix of packed gravel and packed dirt
• Open air pavilion at head of trails with stamped concrete surface and indoor accessible universal/ single user public washroom
• Log Dump trail 
• Length - 1km (one-way)
• Surface - Packed gravel, double wide trail
• Description - Open trail with mix of dense cedar tree canopy, rough roots and rocks and frame trail, slight decline near the end of trail to shoreline. Packed gravel turns into mix of large boulders and pebble rocks at shoreline
• Multiple rest area benches and pull off areas spread out along trail
• Sights and sounds - Flora and fauna, the wind blowing through the cedar trees

• Interlocking brick parking lot with 10m double wide gravel trail leading to Dorcas Bay Road
• Paved crosswalk from parking lot to access Singing Sands day-use area
• A wide open interlocking brick surface leads to open air pavilion with stamped concrete surface
• Pavilion offers indoor gendered washrooms with an accessible stall 
• Large wooden surfaced picnic area with accessible picnic table
• Wooden boardwalk with rope railing leads to a wheelchair access mat bringing visitors onto the beach and to the Lake Huron Shoreline
• Accessible Boardwalk
• Length - 250m (one-way) 
• Surface - wooden boardwalk with railings
• Description - Meandering through a wetland, past wildlife viewpoints and interpretive signage stops 
• The boardwalk ends at a viewpoint overlooking the Lake Huron shoreline
• Sights and sounds - Native and migrating birds, the breeze coming off the lake, water lapping against the shore, children playing, wild orchids (certain times of year), rustling grasses
