Mount Revelstoke National Park

Mount Revelstoke National Park is located in southeastern British Columbia, a six-hour drive from Vancouver or 4.5-hour drive from Calgary, Alberta, along the Trans-Canada Highway. The town of Revelstoke is located adjacent to the western entrance and serves as a convenient base for exploring the park.

Directions

Location in British Colombia just north of the City of Revelstoke. 

By Vehicle

Access to Mount Revelstoke National Park of Canada is by highway. The community of Revelstoke, 0.8 km southwest of the park, is located almost halfway from Calgary, Alberta, to Vancouver, British Columbia. From the Trans-Canada Highway, most summer visitors drive up the 26 km long Meadows in the Sky Parkway. This winding, paved mountain road leads to the Mount Revelstoke summit, and is the only opportunity in the Canadian national park system for private vehicles to access a mountaintop environment. Parking for summit visitors is located at Balsam Lake, on km 24 of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. Trailheads for several different hikes are found at Balsam Lake.

By Bus

Mount Revelstoke is accessible by commercial bus lines to the city of Revelstoke. The Trans-Canada Highway is the point of access for visitors. It runs just inside the park's boundary for 13 km along the southeast perimeter of the park.

By Air

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is closest airport 185km away. Calgary International Airport (YYC) is located 527km east. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is located 577km west. Bus lines & car rental can be found at these 3 locations.
