Walk in the footsteps of the people who lived on the island and the immigrants who passed on this former quarantine station. Visit evocative sites and beautiful landscapes, including the Celtic Cross and the Irish Cemetery. A train ride takes you to the old village of Saint-Luc-de-la-Grosse-Île and to the hospital area where you will discover the secrets of the red room of the lazaretto. A visit to Grosse Île is like stepping back into a rich and moving past.

Parks Canada is pleased to offer free admission for youth at our parks and sites. However, transport fees to get to Grosse Île apply in addition to admission fees listed below.
