Hours of operation

Visitor Reception Centre: Open Friday to Tuesday, July 1 to August 31
Day-use washrooms (lower parking lot area): June 10 to September 2. 
Trails open year-round. 

This lovely self-guided site boasts a wonderful system of trails, varying in length, over a total span of 5 kilometers. The trails are all graded as "easy".

Please note: While the grounds of Skmaqn–Port-la-Joye–Fort-Amherst National Historic Site are open year round. The trails are not maintained between mid-October and mid-June each year.
