Community and group events that range from festivals, pow wows, walkathons or running events, corporate events, group picnics and even family reunions! The Forks is a wonderful venue for hosting events of all types and sizes.

Weddings

Hold your ceremony at the Amphitheatre on the bank of the Red River overlooking the historic St. Boniface Cathedral, gather in the Orientation Circle, or find the perfect grove of trees in a green space for a more intimate event.

Amphitheatre
  • With spectacular views of the Esplanade Riel, overlooking St. Boniface, this is a perfect spot to hold your concert, show or wedding.
  • Most private location
  • Raised concrete platform and a grassy area for additional seating
  • Accessible for guests with mobility issues
  • Outdoors (note: there is no alternate indoor location)
  • Capacity: 100 chairs theatre-style on the Amphitheatre platform, up to 500 guests seated on the grassy hill
Orientation Circle
  • Views of downtown Winnipeg and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights
  • Ideal for weddings and other events
North Field
  • Green areas with views of the rivers, downtown Winnipeg
  • Ideal for picnics, festivals, outdoor events
Centre Field
