The Forks National Historic Site

Programming at The Forks is over for the season, but the site remains open for visitors to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you in 2024!

Join us at The Forks for the Where Our Stories Meet tour! 

The tour will start with the histories of the First Nations who traded here for thousands of years. You’ll then hear about the outsiders who charted this territory for Europe, as well as the story of the Red River Métis, who shaped the land that would become Manitoba during the fur trade era.

Dates: 

May 23 to June 30: Monday to Friday at 11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm.
July 2 to September 4: Thursday to Monday at 11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm.

Location:

Travel Manitoba Information Centre, located in the Johnston Terminal
