Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites
Surrounded by BC and Washington state coastal landscapes, 14 km west of downtown Victoria, explore Fort Rodd Hill, a 19th-century west coast artillery fortress on active duty from 1895 to 1956 and Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse on Canada's west coast. Open year-round, with daily interpretive programs, events and access to all historic buildings and site's amenities in the summer, and the historic site's grounds and washrooms in the winter.
