Area closure:

WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE:
-Akamina Parkway
-Bears Hump Trail
-Crandell Mountain Campground
-All on- or off-trail travel in specific areas within the western portion of Waterton Lakes National Park as shown on the attached map

WHY: Closed due to construction work.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.

Start date: 27/04/2020.

End Date: Until further notice.
