Temporary Beach Closure – Combers Beach

Visitor safety Notice: Due to winter storm conditions, flooding at high tide and erosion, Comber's Beach access is currently closed.

It is important to note that although the parking lot and the trail to the beach is open, winter conditions and beach erosion is typical during this time of year. Ease of access from the trail to the beach has become treacherous.  Be CoastSmart and use caution when accessing any beach at any time. Plan your activities according to tides and observe beach conditions closely. Please obey any temporary closures that may be necessary throughout the winter months for everyone’s safety.

Storm watching view points include Kwisitis Visitor Centre Observation Deck at Wickaninnish Beach and the Florencia Bay Lookout.
