January 18th 2021 – Winter readiness workshop
7:00-8:00 p.m

Saskatoon Public Library

Through this workshop, discover ways to enjoy the colder months by embracing what winter has to offer. This workshop will introduce Canadian wildlife species that are masters at adapting to winter conditions and will explore what they can
teach us about staying warm and safe in our own winter adventures.

This program is free and will be hosted on Zoom in English. Registration is required with the library in advance.

In partnership with AdventureSmart, get prepared for your next outdoor adventure and join Parks Canada staff for this Survive Outside workshop. Learn about outdoor safety and the 3 T’s: Trip Planning, Training, Taking the Essentials before heading outside.

March 15th 2021 – Camping 101
7:00-8:00 p.m

Saskatoon Public Library

This is our classic camping workshop for beginners or for participants who want to learn more camping tips and tricks! From setting up a tent to camp cooking, participants will learn about the basics of camping to feel confident and comfortable for their next trip!

April 12th 2021 – Camping with babies and toddlers workshop
7:00-8:00 p.m

Thinking of going on a camping trip with your baby or toddler for the first time in the coming year? This brand new workshop may be just the thing to get you excited about your plans!
Camping with babies and toddlers can be daunting, but this workshop is geared to connect new parents and to explore options and tips to make your first camping trip with your little one a memorable experience.

Workshops cover a variety of camping skills, safety considerations and information about camping in Canada’s national parks.
