How to get there
New: Electric vehicle charging stations
Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are available at the following locations:
- Rivière à la Pêche parking lot
- Shewenegan parking lot (operation yet to come)
- Wapizagonke parking lot
- Lac Édouard parking lot
The charging stations are non-networked Level 2 charging stations, half are Tesla charging station units and half are J-1772 charging station units, for visitor use in La Mauricie National Park. These “destination” chargers allow vehicles to reach full charge in 4-6 hours.

La Mauricie National Park is located in the centre of Quebec, 60 km north of Trois-Rivières, halfway between Montréal and Québec City (200 km from Montreal and 190 km from Québec).
To access La Mauricie National Park, you have 2 options : the Saint-Mathieu entrance or the Saint-Jean-de-Piles entrance. Before you leave, consult the park map to find out which entrance to choose to get to your destination and avoid unnecessary kilometres.
Note: there are 64 km between the two entrances inside the park (via the Parkway), and 41 km outside the park.
Saint-Mathieu Entrance (closed from October to May):
Leave highway 55 at exit 217 and follow the road signs towards Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc.

Saint-Gérard Entrance (does not give access to the Parkway)
This entrance is for the Domaine Wabenaki-Andrew clients or for holders of a Parks Canada Discovery Pass or seasonal pass only.
Leave highway 55 at exit 217 and follow the road signs towards Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc. Turn left on road 351 and follow the road signs towards La Mauricie National Park, Saint-Gérard Sector.
