  • More than 100,000 logs removed from 20 lakes
  • 44.2 km of shoreline and 2.5 km of linear waterways cleaned
  • 20 splash dams dismantled
  • 14 lakes restored for brook trout habitats
  • 52,600 fry raised in fish farms and returned to the water
  • 4,160 brook trout relocated

  • 10 brook trout populations restored
  • Nearly 20% of La Mauricie National Park’s lakes restored
  • 366 forms filled out by the public for the Counting for Loon Protection program, a citizen science project to contribute to the loon’s inventory
  • Several beaches dewatered following the splash dam dismantling at Caribou, Dauphinais, Bouchard, Reid, Isaïe, and Waber Lakes and Cobb Bay
  • Nearly half the logs removed from the lakes reused for creating interpretation material, producing works of art, and selling in batches to the public
  • More than 10,000 people informed about environmental protection through educational activities
