From June 22 to August 25

Summer is an ideal time to take part in the various naturalist activities scheduled during your stay. Our varied program of free events will enable both younger and older visitors to have fun while learning more about our natural treasures. Our naturalists are as enthusiastic about nature as they eager to share their knowledge with you!

Are you between the ages of 5 and 11 and looking to have nature-themed fun with your family? Naturalists will put you and your loved ones to the test. It is something to do for the young and young-at-heart!

Days: Sundays
Meeting locations: Shewenegan picninc area: June 30, July 14 and 28, August 11 and 25
Lac Édouard picnic area: June 23, July 7 and 21, August 4 and 18
Hour: 1 pm
Duration: 2 hrs


Evening programs

A talk in an amphitheater

Evening talks, quiz, special guests…, an original way to make the most of your evenings and to discover the park’s natural and cultural treasures. 

Days: Thuesdays*, Thursdays and Saturdays
Meeting locations: At the three amphitheatres on Thursdays and Saturdays
* At the Wapizagonke and Rivière-à-la-pêche amphitheatres on Thuesdays
Hour: 7:30 pm
Duration: 1 hr

Observe wildlife during a Rabaska canoe trip and enjoy the mesmerizing calmness of the setting sun!

Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Meeting location: Shewenegan picnic area (Food service) (on Wednesdays) / Lac du Fou Parking Lot (on Thursdays)
Hour: 6:30 pm (6 pm starting on July 31) 
Duration: 2 hrs
NOTE: 30 spots maximum. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Draw in case of high demand. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dare to go hiking in the forest, accompanied by a naturalist, to discover the fascinating world hiding behind the darkness of night.

Days: Wednesdays
Meeting location: Wapizagonke campground kiosk - La Terrasse trail
Hour: 9 pm (8:30 pm starting on July 31)
Duration: 1.5 hrs
Note: 50 spots maximum. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Draw in case of high demand. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.


Tracks and wildlife

Are you interested in wildlife?

Join the naturalists on a hunt for tracks left by our wonderful wildlife. Will you be able to recognize the footprints of wolves, moose, and martens?

Days: Saturdays
Meeting locations: Shewenegan pinic area (Food service)
