Have you ever taken the time to gaze up at the winter sky? If so, you’ll undoubtedly want to relive the experience and, if not, here’s your chance.
The whole family is invited to experience La Mauricie National Park in a different light. You’ll see, it’s impossible to be unmoved in the presence of so much beauty!
From 6 pm to 9 pm, almost 150 torches will set a unique atmosphere as they light your way along Trail 11. As an exception for these evenings, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing will be permitted on this trail, usually reserved for cross-country skiing. Skimau Shawinigan Club members will be there to accompany you.
Afterwards, the Jupiter astronomy club will be waiting for you in the Rivière à la Pêche Service Centre area to gaze at the winter sky.
To end the experience on a high note, meet up on the Service Centre deck, where you’ll be served a hot drink.
