Coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts

New reservations for Forillon National Park are open. Not all services or facilities are open. Please see details below before making your reservation.

With regard to camping services:

The following are open:

  • Loops A and D of the Petit-Gaspé campsite until October 11.
    (campers in loop A will have access to the service buildings in loop D)
  • The campsites in backcountry camping

The following are closed:

  • Loop E of the Petit-Gaspé campsite as of September 7.
  • Loops A and C of the Des-Rosiers campsite as of August 24
  • Fixed roof accommodation: oTENTik, MicrOcube and Ôasis
  • Cap-Bon-Ami campsites and the service building
  • Sites and the service building of loop B of the Des-Rosiers campsite
  • Loop B and C sites of the Petit-Gaspé campsite
  • Service building of loops A and C of the Petit-Gaspé campsite
  • Lean-to shelters in the backcountry camping.

  • 35 sites with electricity and 31 sites with water and electricity (15 and 30 amps)

Camping rules and regulations

  • Camping is forbidden outside of designated campgrounds.
  • Curfew hours: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Maximum number of people per campsite: 7 people
  • Maximum number of vehicles per campsite: Two vehicles. Maximum of 1 camping unit (caravan/tent-trailer or motor home) and one regular vehicle.
  • Maximum number of camping units per campsite: 2 tents or 1 RV/caravan and 1 tent.
  • Campfire policy: Fires are only allowed in park fire pits. Firewood is sold in bundles. Gathering natural wood is not allowed (driftwood, deadwood, bark, etc.).
  • Alcohol policy: Please respect the curfew.
  • Generator policy: Generators may only be used from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Pet policy: Pets must be on leash and under surveillance at all times.
