World Migratory Bird Day

Parks Canada is teaming up with the Toronto Zoo to celebrate the annual return of migratory birds this spring! Join us for a full day of activities for birders of all levels.

 


Welcome Areas Opening

Parks Canada’s visitor welcome areas in Rouge National Urban Park are set to open for the season over the May long weekend in the Toronto and Markham areas of the park. This year will also be the second season for our well-received “pop-up” welcome areas, which provide rotating visitor services throughout the park. Brand new in 2018 on select summer weekends, join us for Creature Feature Weekends! Shape shifting, transforming and morphing, slithering, swimming, slinking and leaping, we kick off by featuring snakes, salamanders, frogs and turtles… the Rockin’ Reptiles and Awesome Amphibians of the Rouge!
