Glen Rouge Campground (Closed 2020/2021)

The Glen Rouge Campground will be closed in 2020/2021 to undertake important and necessary infrastructure upgrades, as well as improve and enhance the visitor experience and safety at the site.

The Glen Rouge Campground will be closed in 2020/2021 to undertake important and necessary infrastructure upgrades, as well as improve and enhance the visitor experience and safety at the site.

The Glen Rouge Campground enhancement projects being undertaken include:

  • Below ground infrastructure improvements to water and sewage lines
  • Infrastructure and programming enhancements to the site’s visitor experience, safety and environmental design

These improvement projects are being managed by Parks Canada, and the campground is expected to reopen in 2022.

Please note: the Mast Trail Trailhead parking lot will remain open to the public throughout 2020-2021 while these improvement projects are underway in the campground.

Camping is still available at other Toronto & Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) campgrounds in the Greater Toronto Area, including Albion Hills. For more info. visit the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
