DayTripper
2021 reservations will launch on April 19, 2021 at 8 am EDT Reservations for trips between May 21 to October 11, 2021 will open in April, instead of January. This will give you more time to consider the latest COVID-19 measures. It may also help reduce the need for cancellations.

All aboard the DayTripper for an invigorating cruise over sparkling water to Beausoleil Island in Georgian Bay Islands National Park! Enjoy the scenic 15-minute boat ride to begin your adventure for the day. Enjoy a hike or have a picnic. Rent a mountain bike or go for a swim.
Please note, the DayTripper is only available to be booked for half day park visitors (please see daily schedule below). Overnight campers, or full day visitors will need to provide their own boat, or hire a water taxi, to access Beausoleil Island.
Go South or North... Which is best for you?
Cedar Spring
(South end of Beausoleil Island)
The Cedar Spring area is the hub of activity for the Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Here, you’ll find mountain bike rentals, a welcome centre, interpretive programs, picnic shelters, swimming beaches and easy trails for hiking and biking.
Chimney Bay
(North end of Beausoleil Island)
The northern part of the island is more wild and rugged, boasting the best hiking trails and scenery in the park – with breathtaking views out over the islands of Georgian Bay! You’ll see the granite bedrock, clear blue water and windswept white pines that inspired the famous Group of Seven artists. There are plenty of spots to stop for a scenic picnic or dip in the bay.
