Cedar Spring
(South end of Beausoleil Island)

The Cedar Spring area is the hub of activity for the Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Here, you’ll find mountain bike rentals, a welcome centre, interpretive programs, picnic shelters, swimming beaches and easy trails for hiking and biking.

The northern part of the island is more wild and rugged, boasting the best hiking trails and scenery in the park – with breathtaking views out over the islands of Georgian Bay! You’ll see the granite bedrock, clear blue water and windswept white pines that inspired the famous Group of Seven artists. There are plenty of spots to stop for a scenic picnic or dip in the bay.


DayTripper Reservations: DayTripper Reservations: Reservations are required and can be made with the Parks Canada Reservation Service by calling 1-877-737-3783 or online. Reservations for the 2018 season launch on May 14, 2018. Note that pets and recreational equipment (bicycles, canoes, etc.) are not permitted on the DayTripper.

Spring (May 18th – June 14th)
Open 5 days per week (closed on Wednesday and Thursday).

Summer and Fall (June 15th – October 8th)
Open daily.
