Business licenses

Any person or corporation doing business in Georgian Bay Islands National Park must obtain a business licence. Business means any trade, industry, employment, occupation or activity carried on in a park for profit, gain or commercial promotion. Applications for business licenses are reviewed annually. All applications must proceed through our approval process before any licenses will be granted. License fees will apply.

Parks Canada invites water taxis and other interested businesses who would like to provide services to the park to apply for a business licence. The licences allow the park to promote support and ensure quality services to those who are supporting park operations.
