Visiting the Grotto from November 1 to April 30
We are not taking parking reservations during this period. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please read our off-season information page to plan your trip before you travel.
Plan ahead and make a parking reservation
- Access into the Grotto cave is closed since physical distancing is not possible. The view of the cave can still be enjoyed from above.
- Watch and obey all warning and closure signs.
Visit the Bruce Peninsula National Park COVID-19 page for updates on park facilities and services.
The Georgian Bay shoreline including the Grotto, Halfway Log Dump and surrounding trails is a popular area of the park. Parking is limited and a parking reservation is required to access these areas. Plan ahead to avoid disappointment!
Driving in and dropping off visitors is not allowed. All vehicles require a valid permit to enter each area.
Book parking for the Grotto and Halfway Log Dump in advance. Other first-come, first served parking lots in the park fill early each morning. Once parking lots are full, there is no other access to the park. We do not recommend travelling to the park without a reservation.
