There are three areas at Mallorytown Landing that are reservable between Victoria Day weekend and Labour Day at no additional cost (parking fees apply).

Historic Picnic Shelter

  • Waterfront view (stairs leading down to the waterfront)
  • Located at the point of the property, approximately 21 m (70 feet) from the parking lot
  • Approximately 18 m (60 feet) from the Visitor Centre
  • Large BBQ is located 3 m (10 feet) from the shelter (you will need charcoal)
  • Garbage bin is located beside the shelter
  • Large grass area beside shelter for games and sports equipment
  • Space for approximately 4 large picnic tables inside the shelter (approximately 30-40 people)
Dock Shelter

  • Waterfront view
  • A large BBQ is located 1.2 m (4 feet) from the shelter on the waterfront (you will need charcoal)
  • Garbage and recycling bins located inside the shelter
  • Approximately 4.5 m (15 feet) from the parking lot, 3 m (10 feet) from the dock, and 18 m (60 feet) from the Visitor Centre
  • Space for approximately 5 large picnic tables inside the shelter (approximately 40-45 people)

Group picnic area

  • A large grassy area located beside the play structure
  • Approximately 4.5 m (15 feet) from the parking lot, 9 m (30 feet) from the Visitor Centre, and 4.5 m (15 feet) from the waterfront
  • Garbage bin located within this area
  • Large area to set up picnic tables, games and sports equipment
  • Space for approximately 50-70 people
