Our twist on "take-out": Everything tastes better when you eat it outside!

We partnered with local restaurants on a Perfect Picnic! Pick up a ready-made lunch and let nature design your dining space. Be dazzled by white sand beaches and turquoise water at Kejimkujik Seaside, or enjoy the stillness of the waterways and Acadian forest at Kejimkujik inland! "Bon appétit!"

  2. Pick up your lunch
  3. Find your perfect picnic place at Kejimkujik Seaside or Kejimkujik inland, and enjoy!

1) Hiker’s Picnic: $20 (plus tax)
  • Choice of sandwich made on fresh market bread and served with Wolter’s greens:
    • Egg salad
    • Chicken Salad
    • Webber’s ham and cheese
  • Market-made hummus and crudités
  • Brownie and seasonal fruit (apple, strawberries, blueberries, or combo)
  • Bottle of water
2) Leisurely Picnic: $25 (plus tax)
  • Market made baguette
  • Assorted sliced meat from Webber’s Meat
  • That Dutchman’s Cheese Farm cheese (Great Village, NS)
  • Hummus and crudités
  • Potato salad
  • Apple crisp
  • Bottle of water

NOTE: We do carry gluten free products so the picnics can be adapted to those seeking gluten free options.

  • Lobster rolls: chunks of tender, fresh lobster tossed in a tangy horseradish mayonnaise with a spritz of lemon, celery, green onion and arugula served on a soft brioche roll.
  • Summer garden salad: mixed greens with fresh local goodness and a house-made dressing.
  • Choice of dessert: apple crisp, brownie sundae, coconut cream pie, or turtle cheesecake (selection may vary) 
  • VanDyk’s Blueberry Lemonade.
2) Picnic Lunch: $27 plus tax
  • Choose one of the following sandwiches on your choice of Lane’s famous brown bread, 7 grain, white or sourdough bread
    • Roast turkey with cranberry mayo
    • Ham and cheddar
    • Roast turkey club with bacon, tomato and greens
  • Summer garden salad: mixed greens with fresh local goodness and a house-made dressing
  • Choice of dessert: apple crisp, brownie sundae, coconut cream pie, or turtle cheesecake (selection may vary)

  • Please note: the wrap will be ready to go and the salad will be deconstructed and toppings and dressing need to be added. Ice will be provided to keep the items fresh and chilled.
