Awaken to the sound of birds and watch beavers busy in the estuary from your tent. Launch your kayak nearby and paddle the serene waters of Southwest Arm. Admire views of distant Malady Head. Camping at the mouth of Southwest Arm Brook is a backcountry experience with a twist – they may be primitive sites surrounded by nature, but you can practically drive right up to them! Just park your car and shuttle your gear on a short, 5-minute trail to your middle-of-nowhere campsite complete with a picnic table. Pitch a tent atop one of three newly-built wooden tent platforms and enjoy a rare backcountry experience in an easy-to-access front-country setting.
