Major Kollock Creek Trail

Kouchibouguac National Park

Hiking Mountain bike Lookout Parking

Distance: 6.3 km loop
Time: 45 to 90 minutes
Difficulty: Moderate (mountain bikes recommended)
Habitat: Forest, river

This one-way bicycle trail is ideal for visitors who want to try mountain biking. This trail, in a general west to east direction, starts between the Petit-Large shelter and primitive camping site of the same name and ends at the Major Kollock Creek parking lot.

Cyclists should be extra careful on this trail because of hikers who may be using the paths and because of the long boardwalks in certain locations.

Along the way, there are several places where you can stop to rest, take photos, and enjoy a snack. The remains of old beaver colonies are visible along the trail and moose are often seen in the area.
