Snowshoeing under the moonlight (7 pm - 9 pm)
Guided snowshoe outing to Patterson with a few surprises along the way. Meet at the Pijeboogwek Shelter between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm for details and to rent snowshoes if needed. Bring a flashlight.

February 17

Kouchibouguac Winter Stargaze (7:30 pm - 9:30 pm)
Telescope observations will take place near the Visitor Information Centre with volunteers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Dress warmly!

February 18

Family fun at the Patterson hill (1 pm - 4 pm)
Walk, snowshoe or fat bike the new winter trail or take the ski trail and glide your way to the shelter. Join us for a treasure hunt, riddles and S’mores. Bring your sleds if you wish to slide down the hill..

March 3

Snowshoe outing with Ocean Trail (1 pm - 4 pm)
Learn the snowshoe basics with Mark Hazen from Ocean Trail with a 3 hour session – 1 hour inside followed by a 2 hour filled with techniques and treks.

Building Winter Shelters with Ocean Trail (1 pm - 4 pm)
Learn how to build winter shelters with Mark Hazen from Ocean Trail. Pick up tips on clothing, equipment, heat loss management, cold related hazards and more in this 3 hour session.

Who who who’s there? (7 pm - 9 pm)
Dress warmly and venture out on a guided walk to discover the night life of owls around Pijeboogwek and the Visitor Information Centre area.
