Watching animals in their native habitat can be a memorable part of your visit to a national park. Fundy National Park is home to many animals including black bear, coyote, moose, and deer. For your safety and theirs we ask that you please keep your distance and keep the “wild” in wildlife by abiding by the following rules.

  • Keep your distance when observing wildlife.
  • Do not feed the wildlife.
  • Keep your picnic and campsites clean and free of garbage and store food in your vehicle or animal-resistant food containers.

Feeding wildlife is strictly forbidden - animals that are fed will expect handouts and can become aggressive towards people.

Wildlife safety information is available at the Visitor information centres.
