The Goutte d'Ô
Looking for something new? Parks Canada is testing a variety of new accommodations for summer 2016 and invites you to try them out at a promotional price in exchange for your feedback. Fundy National Park will be piloting the Goutte d’Ô at Point Wolfe Campground.
What is it?
The Goutte d’Ô is an accommodation that resembles a water droplet and has an interior area of 6m2. There is a sofa bed on the main level and a hammock loft above. The Goutte d’Ô can accommodate a couple or a family. Ideally, this accommodation is suspended or on stilts. For the piloting phase, the Goutte d’Ô will be installed on a wooden platform at Point Wolfe Campground in Fundy National Park. Visitors will need to bring their own cooking equipment and bedding. Cooking inside the Goutte d’Ô is prohibited. Plan ahead to be equipped for colder days as this accommodation is not heated. Washrooms and showers nearby.
What do I need to bring for my stay in the Goutte d’Ô?For your stay in the Goutte d’Ô, you should bring your sleeping bag (or bedding), pillow, food, cooking equipment, toiletries and any other equipment that you need for the length of your stay. Pets are not allowed in the Goutte d’Ô
