    The 13th annual Riding Mountain Loppet / Family Fun Day weekend is this weekend (March 9 & 10)! A Norwegian term for a long-distance cross-country ski race, a “loppet” is for anyone who loves the joy of gliding across the snow, whether for fun or competition. A family fun event, the 2019 Loppet offers distances ranging from the 2.0 km Chipmunk Challenge, to the 6.0 km Jackrabbit route, to the 12.0 km Cougar circuit, and finally the 24.0 km Wolf endurance course.
