10:00 pm - Dark Sky Weekend Kickoff – meet us at the main beach as we turn off all the lights there and look up to celebrate the stars.  Bring your binoculars or telescopes!

10:30 pm – 12:00 am – Night Sky Photography Workshop – Camera enthusiasts everywhere, take a guided tour to the water’s edge to see a sky full of stars.  Hosted by Rob Lovatt of Keywest Photo, Wasagaming and Brandon

1:30 pm – 3:30 pm - HIKE THROUGH THE SOLAR SYSTEM – Meet at the Visitor Centre

Come join Gord Weflen, a member of the Brandon and Area Astronomical Society as we tour through the planets of the inner solar system along the Lakeshore Trail then visit the gas giants on our way to Deep bay and beyond. Along the way we will learn a bit about each planet and gain an understanding of just how big our "little" place in the universe is! Bring good walking shoes, a water bottle, and lots of imagination! The walk will last approximately 2hrs (Rain or shine)

8:30 pm - Bats, Man! Do you find bats creepy crawly? Sometimes bats get a bad rap. We’re here to show you a different side of our fuzzy friends. They are cute, they love to cuddle, and are great for our environment. Come listen to bat sounds, and see if you can spot one yourself!

9:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Moonlight Release and Relax Yoga – Quiet the mind, soften your body and breath; and connect with the source, with a non-weight bearing hath class under the night sky for all
