Trans-Canada Highway Day-use Areas
The Skunk Cabbage and Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trails are located along the Trans-Canada Highway section of Mount Revelstoke National Park. These trails are at their best in early morning or early evening. The boardwalks, washrooms and picnic areas at Skunk Cabbage and Giant Cedars open with the spring snowmelt - generally the May long weekend. They close after Canadian Thanksgiving in early October. Delays in trail openings may occur when bears are present in the area or when snow has caused damage to trail structures.
