WHAT: Pursuant to subsection 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent, Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks: 

WHERE: Mount Revelstoke National Park - Prescribed fire area and forest above Caribou Cabin up to parking area at 23.5 km.

Note: This closure is only for the prescribed fire area and does NOT impact the Meadows in the Sky Parkway, the Summit and Lindmark trails or access to the summit.

WHY: Area closed - prescribed fire and hazard trees in area

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act. Maximum penalty $25 000.
