WHAT: Pursuant to section 7(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, the Mount Revelstoke summit area is temporarily CLOSED TO DOGS.

WHERE: Summit area above Snow Forest view point including Lindmark trail, Summit trail above Snow Forest (crossing #5) and all other trails at summit of Mount Revelstoke. See attached map.

WHY: Due to recent encounters between grizzly bears and dogs.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act. Maximum penalty $25000.
