Reservations
Redstreak campground accepts site-specific reservations beginning January 24, 2019 at 8 a.m. Mountain Time. Redstreak Campground can be reserved from May 09, 2019. Earlier dates are first-come, first-served. To book or learn more contact the Parks Canada Reservation Service at 1-877-737-3783.
Redstreak oTENTiks can be reserved by contacting the Parks Canada Reservation Service at 1-877-737-3783. The oTENTiks are available beginning May 3, 2019.
New! Marble Canyon and McLeod Meadows Campgrounds now accept site-specific reservations for certain sites beginning January 24, 2019 at 8 a.m. Mountain Time. Marble Canyon Campground can be reserved from June 27, 2019 and McLeod Meadows can be reserved from June 20, 2019. Earlier dates and ongoing sites are first-come, first-served. To book or learn more contact the Parks Canada Reservation Service at 1-877-737-3783.
Crook’s Meadows group camping is accessible to registered not-for-profit groups and schools. Reservations can be made by calling 1-403-522-1203.
All other campgrounds in Kootenay National Park operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Arrive early. Long weekends in May, July, August and September and weekends in July and August are the busiest times.
Fees
When campers pay a fee they are issued a permit as proof of purchase. Here are the permits that you require when camping:
