With over 100,000 images recorded each year on our remote wildlife cameras, we accumulate thousands of images of some of the park's more common species like deer and elk.

For some species though, we only get occasional photos. This is either because they are rare in the park, occurring at low densities, such as bobcats and wolverines; or it's because their behaviour or habitat makes them less likely to trigger one of our cameras, such as marmots, sandhill cranes and pileated woodpeckers.
