Celebrate Canada Day with free entry to Elk Island National Park on July 1!

Sport red and white while exploring over 80 km of trails, looking for iconic Canadian wildlife such as moose and beavers, or paddling around the islands of Astotin Lake.

After a morning of wildlife watching, take in a flag raising at the Astotin Lake Recreation area and join a summer program; kids are out of school and park interpreters are ready with guided activities for all ages!

12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. live music with John Spearn
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pemmican-making

*Cake is first-come-first serve until gone.

On busy summer weekends, allow for extra time to get through park gates. Consider entering the park through the North Gate on Highway 831 south of Lamont (off Hwy 15).
