Park and Roam

Roam Public Transit services the Town of Banff, popular Banff Attractions and is the Bow Valley’s public transit service offered by the Bow Valley Regional Transit Services Commission. With buses that help you roam around the Town of Banff in an environmentally friendly way, leave your vehicle where it is and park and roam to your favourite attractions.

Banff Local Routes

Route #1 provides service to Sulphur Mountain/Banff Upper Hot Springs. Service is offered daily year-round (schedule varies by season).

Route #2 provides service to Tunnel Mountain. Service is offered daily year-round (schedule varies by season).

Route #4 provides service to Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Service is offered Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays from Spring to Fall. Check back here for more details.

Route #6 provides service to Lake Minnewanka. Service is offered daily from Spring to Fall. Check back here for more details on scheduled service.

Route #7 offers service to the Banff Centre. Service is offered daily year-round (schedule varies by season)

Banff Regional Routes

Route #8 regional service runs along the TransCanada Highway with direct service between Banff and Lake Louise. (schedule varies by season)

Route # 8X Express has service from the town of Banff to Lake Louise lakeshore, with a stop at Samson Mall in the Village of Lake Louise. Check back here for more details on scheduled service.

Route #8S is the scenic route from the town of Banff, along the entire Bow Valley Parkway ending at the Lake Louise lakeshore.  Other stops include Johnston Canyon Campground, Castle Mountain Campground and Protection Mountain Campground. Check back here for more details on scheduled service.

Route #9 provides direct service from Banff to Johnston Canyon. Check back here for more details on scheduled service.

Route #3 provides service between Canmore and Banff. Service is offered daily year-round.
