WHAT: Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: Johnston Canyon Trail - Lower Falls to Upper Falls and section of P1 parking lot (see attached map). For further details, visit the construction projects page.

WHY: To ensure visitor safety during maintenance.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act; maximum penalty $25 000.
