WHAT:  No access to Lower Tunnel Mountain Trailhead and parking.

WHERE: The Lower Tunnel Mountain trail (see accompanying map)

Note:

1. Lower Tunnel Mountain trail can only be used as an out and back trail from the Tunnel Mountain Drive Parking area.

2. Due to limited parking at Tunnel Mountain Drive parking area, hikers are encouraged to park in town and walk up to the upper trail by using the pedestrian detour (for further details visit:

https://banff.ca/1181/St-Julien-Road-Reconstruction).

3.  Upper Tunnel Mountain Summit Trail remains open.

WHY: To ensure public safety by preventing use of the lower trailhead during Town of Banff construction activities on St Julien Road.
