Spray River Valley

WHAT:  Pursuant to Section 36(1) of the National Parks General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the following area is closed to all traffic and travel by order of the Superintendent:

WHERE: The Spray River Valley from its headwaters at Canyon Dam through to the confluence of Goat Creek and the Spray River.  This area also includes the drainage from Sundance Pass south into the Spray River (see accompanying map).

WHY: Wildlife activity in this area cannot be disturbed by human presence.


PENALTY:  Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
