The S.S. Klondike is located on the banks of the Yukon River on the outskirts of downtown Whitehorse. Enjoy a self-guided tour, a video presentation, the Xplorer activity booklet for kids or take a guided tour with one of our heritage interpreters. And be sure to check out our gift shop!
Please note that visitors must check in with Parks Canada at the Visitor Centre for important orientation and safety messages prior to boarding the vessel.
10 Robert Service Way
A pedestrian trail following the Yukon River is a pleasant way to reach the site from downtown or Robert Service Campground.
Alternately, you can get to the site via Whitehorse Transit bus.
If you choose to drive to the site there is ample parking with pull through stalls for RVs and trailers.
Whitehorse is easily accessed by air from Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. Many visitors take the Alaska Highway from B.C., Alberta or Alaska.
