Whitehorse is easily accessed by air from Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. Many visitors take the Alaska Highway from B.C., Alberta or Alaska.
A pedestrian trail following the Yukon River is a pleasant way to reach the site from downtown or Robert Service Campground.
Alternately, you can get to the site via Whitehorse Transit bus.
If you choose to drive to the site there is ample parking with pull through stalls for RVs and trailers.
Hours of operation
The S.S. Klondike Visitor Centre will be open daily from May 21 to September 5, 2022, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Due to ongoing heritage conservation work, on-board tours of the S.S. Klondike vessel will not be available until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
