Klondike National Historic Sites

Dawson City, Yukon, is 525 kilometres (328 miles) northwest of Whitehorse, and 828 kilometres (514 miles) from Anchorage, Alaska. There is limited cell and fuel service en route. There are flights year-round and seasonal service from Europe.

Book accommodations in advance for summer visits, especially during festivals. Many events and tours are offered only from May through September. In winter, there are several festivals and epic dog sled races.
