Batoche is an hour north of Saskatoon by road and an hour south of Prince Albert. The site is open seasonally between May and October for visitors to hike the trails, take part in special events and explore the original buildings from the 1800s. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours at the site; many visitors come for the whole day.

Batoche is 88 km northeast of Saskatoon. Follow Highway #11 north to Rosthern, Highway #312 east to junction 225. Batoche is 11 km north of this junction.
