Description of the activities

Wigs and dignity
Wearing wigs and hats, students will experience social life during the French period and will be introduced to the importance of the social ranks of the time through a role play that unites history and humor. In addition to learning more about the governor, steward and bishop, the participants will be able to explore the remains of the Saint-Louis Forts and Châteaux, accompanied by the Governor General (character) and a Parks Canada guide.

On Her Excellency’s Secret Service (Residence of the General Governor at the Citadelle of Québec)
Based on the famous ClueTM board game, this activity brings students to explore the State rooms of the residence in their search for clues to solve a mystery. Three educational, interactive and fun missions are available, according to grade level. The suggested activities were designed to complement lessons students learn in class, in accordance with various provincial curricula.
