Things to do
Immerse yourself in a great tale, one that takes place at the Saint-Louis Forts and Châteaux National Historic Site. Meet a diverse cast of characters who take you on an extraordinary journey back in time. As the seat of colonial power, the Saint-Louis Forts and Châteaux were the main venue for numerous diplomatic meetings between representatives of First Nations, such as the Huron-Wendat Nation, and successive French and English governors. The Huron-Wendat Nation therefore found itself central to the development of political, military and trade alliances based on common values: pride, honour and respect.
You can visit as you wish: through a unique auditory experience using an audio guide available in french or english or by browsing the various stations of the crypt independently at your own pace. Whatever you choose, you will discover the unique history of this place, which is filled with fascinating stories. Parks Canada guides will be on site to answer your questions.
