Things to do
To fully understand the important role played by the Obadjiwan–Fort Témiscamingue trading post, we must go back in time. Close your eyes and imagine the scenes that unfolded at the site - Algonquins bringing different pelts to the merchants. The "voyageurs" wearing mocassins and red tuques, their canoes loaded with trading objects for the way up... The canoes filled with furs for the way back... Can you see them? Take a walk to learn about their daily lives.
