The Outaouais BIBLIO network (French only) is a non-profit organization which aims to create and support proximity library services to promote culture in every environment. The Réseau Biblio de l’Outaouais is partnered with the Manoir-Papineau National Historic Site in order to provide easy access to Canada's history and culture, specifically, that of Louis-Joseph Papineau.

Communauto was founded in Québec City in 1994. The company has a social, environmental and urban vocation. In addition to being the oldest car-sharing company in North America, Communauto was the first car-sharing organization on the North American continent to offer 100% electric cars to its customers, and to offer two types of car-sharing service (with and without reservation). Its service is based on the pooling of more than 2,000 vehicles. Communauto’s network is growing and is now present in 7 cities in Canada: Kingston, Ottawa, Gatineau, Montréal (Laval and Longueuil), Québec, Sherbrooke, Halifax, and, since 2012, in Paris.

An exchange and Intergenerational culture place, the Maison Nationale des Patriotes (French only) is a historic site with an eye to the future. An interpretation centre about the history of the Patriotes in Lower Canada, its main mission is to reveal an important part of your history: the story of the Patriotes in Lower Canada from 1837 and 1838 in a playful way. The "Maison Nationale des Patriotes" is partnered with the Manoir-Papineau National Historic Site in publicizing a section of the story of Patriote Louis-Joseph Papineau.

Ovila David Huard et Dominique Carrière

The promoters Ovila David Huard and Dominique Carrière (French only) are organizing the symposium of visual arts Les couleurs du manoir showcasing artists from the region and elsewhere. Their goal is to expose these professional artists and offer an art exhibit of quality, simultaneously with the events put on by the Manoir Papineau.

An open air exhibit as well as a gallery inside the Manoir are offered to the public for free. Furthermore, the history of the Manoir, the event will take place at a unique site and will complete the idea to promote the Manoir and all related activities.

Les couleurs du manoir, is a new destination for art in our enchanting site filled with history of Outaouais.
